Joined O’rings

Urgently need an o’ring but the size is not available? Sealing Australia can custom make joined o’rings in either cold joined or hot vulcanised joined. Our extensive range of cross sections, compounds and tooling means your custom o’ring can be made quickly. Contact us for a quotation.

Cold Join:

Quick and economical, o’rings are joined with cyanoacrylate adhesive. Not recommended for high temperature applications or with chemicals that can weaken the adhesive.

Vulcanised Join:

O’rings are joined from a compound based adhesive (e.g. Nitrile cord joined with nitrile based adhesive). Adhesive is applied and then heated in a die until it sets, leaving an o’ring joined with an adhesive that has the same chemical resistance as the o’ring compound.

Note:

• Joined o’rings are not recommended for dynamic applications.
• A 25% surcharge applies for prompt (same day / next day) delivery.
